End of the Summer Season on Birch Grove .... posted 08 Nov 2018

Well we've come to the end of another Summer Season on Birch Grove, with lots of really lovely comments from our guests about how Birch Grove is evolving.

Everyone seems to love the lodge improvements, and with the best mirror doing 35lb and best common at 34lb+ along with our stockies pushing up towards 20lb the fishing hasn't been too bad either.

We will be working hard over the winter months to keep moving things forward, another Siltex application is planned, and this weekend will see the Main Boards peg compeletly stripped out and rebuilt (a further peg is scheduled for rebuild during the spring in readiness for our next summer guests in 2019)

Finally, for all our guests coming next year, we have decided to provide padded unhooking cradle, floating retainer / weigh sling and landing nets for all pegs. The equipment is top quality Trakker kit, and will help protect our fish stock.

Any available weeks to book for 2019 will be released by us early December - so keep an eye on the website or register your interest now to lisa@carp-waters.co.uk
